Clarify your goals & create a plan to achieve them!
A Self-Awareness Article by Zoe Davis Face Your Life Lessons And Thrive!Life can be hard and life can be easy, it’s a choice. Yeah, sure things happen that are challenging and cause us pain, but avoiding the pain doesn’t make it go away. If you can prepare yourself to get through hard times and simply see them as lessons needing to be completed, then you will finally be free, happy and on top! Step 1: Take responsibility.
So you’ve been through a lot already and you aren’t sure how much more you can take. When is your knight in shining armour going to come and rescue you? Sorry to burst your bubble, but no one is coming to the rescue. If you are waiting to be rescued from your problems you are preventing yourself from owning the power to live your own life. It’s like getting someone to do your homework, sure you got the teacher off your back, but you didn’t learn what the lesson was about. Make a declaration to sort your stuff out yourself, so that when it’s done YOU can feel the sense of accomplishment and wisdom that goes with it! Step 2: What needs fixing? Keep it simple by focusing on one issue at a time. Move on to the next issue, only when you have completed the first issue. You may be able to sort out a few smaller problems concurrently, but when it comes to the big stuff, example, moving house, changing jobs, fixing your marriage, do it one at a time. Prioritise what is the most important to you and get to work on it. Step 3: Be patient. If you have had an ongoing issue, it’s highly unlikely that it’s going to be fixed overnight. Be realistic about how long things will take and set an intention to have it sorted out by that time. Moving can take weeks, fixing a relationship can take months and clearing some health issues can sometimes take years! Take your time to do it properly and thoroughly. Step 4: Visualise. Create a picture of what the resolved situation will look like, so that when it happens you can recognise it. Get really clear about how good it looks and feels and what kind of things you will finally be free to do. Really know and love what you are heading for. Regularly practice visualising the positive outcome; this speeds up the resolution process immensely. Step 5: Celebrate! Each time you put a problem right, celebrate! It may be to open a bottle of champagne, take a long awaited holiday or simply take a walk on the beach. Do something that marks the occasion and allows you to put it behind you and move on to peace and positivity. Notice how satisfied and content you are and enjoy it! Final note: Don’t stuff it up! Ok, things are good and peaceful; you have finally put the demons to rest. Mmm, this is an odd feeling isn’t it? What do you do when you don’t have anything to worry about? DO NOT CREATE ANY NEW PROBLEMS! That is the natural thing we tend do, we are so used to getting on top of dramas as a sense of achievement and feeling alive. Focus on creating only healthy, happy and loving habits in your life and get busy living them! Allow yourself to be one of the happy people, you deserve it!
