Choose what's good for you. It’s Okay to Feel GoodDeep down we all know what’s good for us and what isn’t. We also know that if we do what is good for us that we'll feel good. Sure, you gotta to live but every time you choose something you know isn’t good for you it holds you back. If you aren't doing what's good for you the question to ask yourself is... Am I okay with feeling good? Feeling good takes practice and commitment, especially if you haven’t felt good in a while. It requires training the brain and nervous system to be okay feeling good. See your choices sitting on a line with arrows at each end. Each time you choose what’s good for you, you move in the direction of greater health and freedom. Each time you choose what isn’t good you move in the direction of toxicity, heaviness, procrastination, overwhelm, frustration, helplessness and limitations, etc. It comes down to your willingness and faith in being okay feeling good. Stubbornness or willingness? Good choices come down to choosing between stubborn resistance or willingness. DO YOU CHOOSE STUBBORNNESS?
DO YOU CHOOSE WILLINGNESS?
Take a deep breath and decide to not waste another moment being stubborn, feeling out of control or giving your power away. Embrace each and every moment as an opportunity to get clearer, healthier, happier and more creative. Each time you follow through on a good decision you’ll increase your sense of empowerment which inspires more self-discipline. It takes practice but the immediate and long term rewards are infinite! Observe yourself choosing what's good for you:
Let's balance the energy Rub your upper chest (this is the position of the thymus gland, the immune system; ability to adapt) and say aloud: "I choose what is good for me with ease and acceptance." Breathe. "It is okay for me to feel good." Breathe. "I willfully do what helps me be clear, motivated and empowered." Breathe. Repeat until it feels true. Finally tap all over your head to tell the brain there is a new belief in place. Repeat daily as needed. Make it a habit Making good decisions is a lifelong practice, try at least one new thing a day that makes you feel good and make a habit of it. Observe and celebrate how good and capable you feel when you do what is good for you day after day. Are you willing to feel good? What are you choosing to do that you know is good for you?
