An energy update inspired by the Pisces full moon August 26th 2018

The full moon this week will be in intuitive, watery Pisces, while the sun is in practical, earthy Virgo, so this next couple of weeks be aware of practical intuition. This could mean tuning in to how you feel at this time and following the action steps to create it in your life, on a physical level. This isn’t a time for just thinking or feeling, it’s also a time of doing. Particularly when it comes to building new habits and routines.
If you want to change your habits, this month is excellent! It’s not about making radical changes and hoping it works. Make a list of what you want to change on a day to day level and decide for this next 12 months you are going to practice the new habits you'd like to implement.
The sign of Virgo governs health and habits, and late August/ September every year is good to take a closer look at your health and habits and start yourself a new routine.
Perhaps you’d like to improve your work/life balance, your eating habits, exercise, sleep, drinking, smoking, etc. What you start now will take you right through to this time next year. Visualise your new habits continuing through the four seasons, through the festive seasons, through the holidays, through the busy times and that your new habit is going to get stronger and easier to stick to as time goes by.
Picture your new healthy habit taking you through your life for years to come and that is how you are planning to roll, because you know it’s good for you and you love yourself enough to do this for you.
After that hectic eclipse season we just came out of, this full moon will be a lot easier, there will be a more harmonious flow happening. The pressure is off a bit, but that doesn’t mean relax and do nothing, quite the opposite, relax and do everything! Not in a race around, get it done mode, rather get amongst it and see how it works mode. Try new things, even if it seems crazy, there’s no need to put all of your eggs into it, maybe just a couple of eggs and see where it takes you.
There is an emphasis now on long term goals without planning all of the details of getting there. It might be something like deciding you want to be healthier, instead of booking gym classes and creating a strict menu plan for the next year, just do healthy things on a day to day level and see where it takes you. Listen to your body and allow your intuition and inspiration in the moment to carry you along, knowing you’re headed for your main goal which is to be healthier.
Too much planning will squeeze the joy out of it and nothing gets done. Not allowing mistakes will also sabotage good results. Face it, whenever you start something new you’re going to stuff up, sometimes every step of the way! That’s ok, just keep going, celebrate your successes and love and laugh at your mistakes, they are an important part of figuring things out.
So, I’d suggest use this time to play, experiment and create a deeper trust in your intuition. Most of all, and I’m going to be saying this for the next couple of years while Saturn moves through Capricorn, practice what you know is good for you, practice, practice and practice, with a healthy dose of honest mistakes in there. What you practice now will deliver great solid results in the early 2020’s.
