At some point during your healing you will have to experience detaching your energy from others energy and just be in your own energy. Putting yourself first and loving yourself is essential for healing, for self awareness and for your own personal growth. You cannot grow if you are carrying others energy, and that can be in the form of worrying about others, feeling guilty, controlling others behavior, controlling your own behavior for others approval, or even just doing things for others that you know you need to be doing for yourself. Take this moment to set an intention that you will lovingly value yourself and your needs above all else. Know that you are at your best for others when you are at your best for yourself. Practice this energy clearing exercise whenever you are feeling overwhelmed and need to get back to yourself... Find a quiet place where you can relax without being disturbed. 1. Close your eyes, breathe and on the out breaths, release and let go. 2. When you feel ready, be aware of releasing all energy that isn't yours, all the energy you've picked up from others, you are now releasing it and sending it back to whoever and wherever it belongs. You don't need to know who or where, just let it leave you. Allow a couple of minutes for this to process until you feel a shift. 3. Then summon all parts of your Soul back from all areas of the Universe. Any fragments of your Soul’s energy you have carelessly given away are now coming back to you, back to your Body, back to your Being, back to your Core Essence.
